1.Learn some words about traffic rules:signal, pedestrian, rush, fine, path

2.Learn more about adverbial clause of condition:

(1)If everyone obeys the traffic rules,the road will be safer.

(2)If we know more safe traffic rules,we will tell them to other people.

(3)If you ride at night,don’t forget to use a bike light or wear light-colored clothes.

3.Learn to express remindings and warnings:

(1)People should obey the traffic lights.

(2)Don’t rush when you cross the street!

(3)Don’t forget to pay attention to the rules.

4.Learn more useful expressions:

(1)Why don’t we go to the traffic station to learn more traffic rules?

(2)That’s a good idea.

Technical objectives:

Can understand the traffic rules and traffic safety materials;It will simply express the traffic rules in English.To cultivate students' communicative ability, they can actively cooperate with others in the group, so as to broaden their horizon and expand their knowledge.Cultivate students' spirit of cooperative learning through group dialogue.Let students actively participate in the practice of language, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.In learning, use high school, improve the comprehensive use ability of language, and deepen the mastery and memory of basic knowledge.

Step 1 Review

①Vocabulary review, use context and phonetic symbols for students to fill out words.(slide 2)

②Students describe a traffic accident according to the picture.(slide 3)

③Students talk about the advantages and disadvantages of riding a bicycle.(slide 4)

Step 2 Lead-in

Use word-formation, pictures, and Settings to teach new words, \"careless\" and \"helmet\".(slide 5, 6)

Step 3 Presentation

Set problems“What should we do to stay safe when riding bicycles?”

And present the listening task of textbook 1b.(slide 7)

Step 4 Consolidation

①Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions.(slide 8)

②Watch flash animations to consolidate the 1a dialog.(slide 9)

③Present the key words, students perform and retell the dialogue.(slide 10)

Step 5 Practice

①Present the picture and key words of 2a. Students discuss and imitate sentences using \"if\".(slide 11, 12)

②Finish the exercises in lesson 2b and learn more about the traffic rules.(slide 13)

③Revise and consolidate the conditional sentences of \"if\".(slide 14)

Voice - learn and understand the different accents in sentences to emphasize different content.(slide 15)

If everyone obeys the traffic rules,the road will be safer.

If we break the traffic rules, we will get a fine and even be in danger.
