⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇1
This book is how the four daughters of Mrs. March home from young girl grow into a woman's life, describes the characters of rich inner world.
The book four sisters let me feel the different character and hobby, lis most of them are \"Joe\natural disposition is lively, not only to take care, and toughness of the relentless pursuit of life, whichreflects her sentimental inner thoughts and the surface of the active performance of the contrast. Among them, my favorite character is beth, because she very love for life, approachable, seasonin the critically ill still insist on writing, showed her unremitting efforts to the pursuit of a better life.
During the American Civil War, Mr. Madge went to the battlefield as chaplain, four daughters andher mother at home and lived a poor but strong and optimistic life. Although they were poor, they werewilling to help Hummel, a neighbor who was more in need of help. Women have vanity, they want toget beautiful clothes, eat delicious food, live like a princess. Although full of fantasy, but in real life, they have been relying on their own efforts to solve all kinds of hardships in life. Meg was the eldestdaughter of beauty, full of longing for love; the two daughter of Joe independent, determined tobecome a writer; three daughter Bess is a traditional girl, gentle and lovely little daughter Amy lovespainting. The story follows the years when the four women grew up as young women, describing their
uninhibited love experiences and their respective pursuit of different ideals and destination.
This is a book that looks very prosaic at the first glance. But when you go deep into it, you will besurprised to find that this book seems to be full of the shadow of yourself or some familiar people. Toface and experience all the girls growing up in the age of the girl, can be found in this book: the firstlove and worry, differences between emotion and reason, the ideal and the reality, the contradictionbetween the rich and poor. The little woman has no plot of falling rocks and no suspense, but theauthor tells the family's love by simple words. Watching and watching, I can not help but cry for them, inspired by their experience, and even pray for their misfortune. Of course I was their humor laugh, they admire the courage to face difficulties...... Unconsciously, I felt like I was one of them, watchingand thinking about the plot of my mind.
I like Meg, I like her love for poverty, not for money temptation character, like her lady style. I likeJoe, I like her freedom, I love her unswerving determination to dream. I love Beth, love her quiet, doanything without complaining, she always love for others good character. I also like Amy's belief thatshe is strong and regards poverty alleviation as the responsibility of poverty. Their ideals and fates aredifferent, but they all find their best home.
In their view, the home is their growing place, but also a sacred refuge. They listened carefully totheir mother's teachings, and used their smart hands and brains to invent another creative andbeautiful mind game. The growth process of the four sisters seems to be an interesting educationalpoem. The author uses neither gorgeous nor boring language to show us the great family, friendshipand love of human beings. It seems to me that in the eyes of the four sisters, it is the happiest thing inthe world to live forever with the people they love and those who love them.
From them, I learned to be strong, learned to know contentment, but can not meet, I learned to befull of hope for the future, and strive to pursue the dream of optimism. I also learned to double treasurewhat I have, don't wait for death to lose, only to know their commendable. We should find out theadvantages of everyone, not with colored eyes, but see the shortcomings of others. ⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇3
Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. So I have a strong intereston it.
It all begins in the dead of winter; The Christmas Season. The coldest one of all, were the war hasmade fuel for heating very scarce. While her husband is off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise theirfour daughters: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy.
On Christmas Eve, Marmee has just arrived home from passing out food to the less fortunate witha letter from her husband, the girls' father. The all gather together around the fire to read the letter.Afterwards, the girls are teary eyed. Marmee kisses them and they are off to bed.
Jo is longing to become a writer. So, every night she stays up late writing the script for soapoperas. As morning comes she is the last one awake. The table is set, and food prepared for theirChristmas feast.
As dusk falls, the girls are all up in the attic acting out Jo's play, which she reads from the local(fake) newspaper. As they are performing, their rich, next-door neighbors grandson watches from the
window.
The 2 oldest girls: Jo and Meg, get ready to attend the Christmas Ball. While Jo is curling Meg'shair, there is a strange smell to the air. Amy screams, Megs hair is being singed. They continuedigging through the old clothes bin for a pair of white gloves.
One of the prominent themes in Little Women is the coming of age or maturation of the girls.During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways -- physically, intellectually, andespecially emotionally. One question which readers must ask themselves is whether the views thecharacters have on the coming of age process are shared by Alcott. If they aren't, what are Alcott'sviews and how do they differ from those of the women in her story?
It is interesting to examine the last half of Chapter 20, \"Confidential.\" Jo addresses the maturationissue as she speaks with Marmee of the situation between Meg and Mr. Brooke. The possible lovebetween these two represents one of the very important aspects in coming of age for a teenage girl. Jotreats this natural process as if it were some sort of disease, however. Jo cannot understand why Megwould want to stop behaving \"like a sensible creature\" (p.202), and refers to love as \"such nonsense.\" ⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇4

Little Women is a novel published in 1868 and written by American author Louisa May Alcott. Thestory concerns the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War. It wasbased on Alcott's own experiences as a child in Concord, Massachusetts with her three sisters, Anna,May, and Elizabeth. Little Women is the story of The Marches, a family used to hard toil and suffering.Although Father March is away with the union armies, the sisters Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth keep in highspirits with their mother, affectionately named Marmee. Their friendly gift of a Christmas holidaybreakfast to a neighbouring family is an act of generosity rewarded with wealthy Mr. Laurence's gift ofa surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the prettyMeg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; whilethe golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keeps the houseis always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive asMarmee finds out about her husband's illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in herSamaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. The novel tells of theirprogreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance, Beth's terminal illness, thepressures of marriage and the outside world. This is the story of their growing maturity and wisdomand the search for the contentedneof family life. It was written in 1867 and is a fictionalised biographyof Alcott and her sisters. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seemoutdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continuedfollowing.
⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇9
Little Woman was written by American female writer Alcott. After reading this novel, I have someopinions about these four women.
The novel described four sisters in the March family; they were kind to each other and love eachother, hardworking, stayed with neighbor Laurence friendly. Different disposition girls had found theirown happy through their own goodness and industrious. The novel has not a fluctuation plot andfascinating suspension in a play, but the author described the happiness in March family with thesimple language. Their good and kind, loyalty to love and family has left me a deep impression. Theauthor only described very ordinary detail in the life, but reveals the love to the happy life expectationeverywhere.
Although these girls born in a poor family, but they all had the positive attitude to any matter, thenovel had laid emphasis on their individuality and the dignity, but also has displayed their self-expression restraint. Independently was these four girls’s common characteristic, they always keepdiscovering their own shortcoming and correct it as soon as possible which worth our learning. Lookwe, some people always make mistakes, but they always think that it is a small mistake; they don’tneed to notice it, let it go. If every one like them, the society will become very awful, no rule can limitpeople’s behaviors, they can do anything they like.
These four girls are very different, let me introduce them, Meg, the eldest of the four, was sixteen, and very pretty, being plump and fair, with large eyes, plenty of soft, brown hair, a sweet mouth, andwhite hands, of which she was rather vain. Fifteen-year-old Jo was very tall, thin, and brown, andreminded one of a colt, for she never seemed to know what to do with her long limbs, which were verymuch in her way. She had a decided mouth, a comical nose, and sharp, gray eyes, which appeared tosee everything, and was by turns fierce, funny, or thoughtful. Her long, thick hair was her one beauty, but it was usually bundled into a net, to be out of her way. Round shoulders had Jo, big hands andfeet, a flyaway look to her clothes, and the uncomfortable appearance of a girl who was rapidlyshooting up into a woman and didn't like it. Beth, as everyone called her was a rosy, smooth-haired,bright-eyed girl of thirteen, with a shy manner, a timid voice, and a peaceful expression which wasseldom disturbed. Her father called her \"Little Tranquility,\" and the name suited her excellently, for sheseemed to live in a happy world of her own, only venturing out to meet the few whom she trusted andloved. Amy, though the youngest, was a most important person in her own opinion at least. A regularsnow maiden, with blue eyes, and yellow hair curling on her shoulders, pale and slender, and alwayscarrying herself like a young lady mindful of her manners. What the characters of the four sisters werewe will leave to be found out.
I love Meg for her being glad to impoverish for love, not enticed by the money. She did familyteacher to help the family. I love Jo for her free and easy, likes her for the steadfast determinationwhich she struggles for dream. She earns living expenses with aunt March and writes articles for thenewspaper to gain the payment to increase the daily necessities to the family. I love Beth for hertranquil characteristic, doing anything without any complain. Like her good personal character whichalways considers for others, she loves music and feels shy with strangers, so she always does somehousework with her mother at home. I also love Amy for her strong desire; she regard supporting thepoor people as her own faith. She was interested in sketch. Though their idea and the destiny arevarious, they had all found their own love.
In their eyes, the family was not only the place of growth but also the holy refuge. They liked tohear their mother's instruction carefully; they created games by their clever brain and hands which canbeautify the mind. Four sisters' growth courses were as if an interest education poem. The author hadshown us the humanity's great dear ones such as friendship and love with ordinary language. In myopinion, it will be the happiest matter if these four sisters can live with those who they love. They areall good person, if I can live with them, I think my left will become rich and colorful.
An old saying said that “three women can play a performance”, woman always have their ownidea, if the idea has formed, and almost no one can change it. When women meet, if one talks heropinion about something, another one will give her opinion to the first one, then the argument will takeplace, let’s imagine, there were four women in one family, though they are sister, argument can’t
avoid, it will be very interesting in the home.
From the novel, I have learned that we should keep hope for future and make great efforts to seekdream. I also have learned to cherish what you have had such as your parents, time and so on ,weshould discover everyone's merit but to take the colored eye to see others shortcoming. Remember, whatever your goal is, you will get it if you are willing to do!
⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇10
It is known to the entire world that Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is one of the representativesof feminist works. This paper analyzes feminism embodied in Josephine’s view on love in LittleWomen. In the introduction of the paper, I will talk about the background, literature review and mywriting perspective. As for the body part, in Chapter one I will analyze Josephine’s character frommany examples in the story; in Chapter two I will give a comprehensive analysis of Josephine’s viewon love, which mainly covers the love choice she made and the reasons of the choice; in Chapterthree, I will analyze feminism reflected form Josephine, including the aspiration for freedom, the desirefor independence, and the worship of true love. In Chapter four, I will discuss the enlightments andlimitations of Josephine’s feminism in modern times. At last in the conclusion, I will give a briefsummary of this paper.
Even if having the small flaws, Little Women is still an undoubtedly great work. It put eyes onwomen’s growth, fights and efforts to realize the value of life in a patriarchal society. Even in today, itstill has realistic values for modern girls to learn.
Through the daily lives of March sisters, Louisa drew a vivid picture of the life of temporalAmerican pioneers, especially Jo. She impressed us by her goodness, honesty, insistence…and herprecipitancy, rebellion… She’s like a close friend to us, and as well an inner spirit of us.
In order to get closer to this work, I’ve talked about the social background at that time, Louisa’sfamily history, literature review and the definition of feminism; and then to figure out the reasons of Jo’schoice, I’ve analyzed Jo’s personality, the process of Jo’s choice and the reasons of it, so I not onlyhad a clearer impression of Jo, but also got a deeper understanding of her choice; at last in order tolearn the feminist spirits from Jo, I discussed some extraordinary feminist qualities of Jo and got someconstructive tips and suggestions about feminism for all the girls.
After finishing this work which is definitely a masterpiece in history, I’ve learned the importance offreedom, both physically and spiritually, without it, I think I even can’t live well; and also I’ve known thevalue of independence, there’s no one can accompany and help me forever, so being independentcan make me live better and feed myself just on my own; last but not the least, I’ve also beenreminded with the preciousness of true love which makes people truly happy from the bottom from thehearts.
Reading Little Women can be an enjoyable thing, to seek the peace in the blatant, and to seek anaim in the hesitation. We can learn so much from this book. Over a century passing by, the glory of thisbook doesn’t vanish, instead it becomes more excellent, and it connects people generation bygeneration.
⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇11
Today, I have read the book \"Little Women\" .The deepest feeling is it is simple to be happy! Happiness is kinship, friendship, health, labor and peace of mind. Having it, people just feelnormal. But when losting it, people perhaps will find that it can not be replaced by anything in theworld! Ordinary is great!
Every night before going to sleep, I want to carry it to read, lying in the bed, holding it in my handuntil falling asleep. The book is still next to me when I wake up the next moring. This is what I want. This is the first book I love so much to read, because I like to look into the past from the childhood, Ican find my own shadow, my own growth process. In the book, I can forget the sadness as a child canput it all behind.
This book was written by the United States Louisa·May·Alcott. This book can be regarded as afamily biography to read, but it is not about the adults' struggle but the growth of the children, tellingthem how to become mature from a naive, from vulnerable to suffering, from urgent to patient, from selfto others. The book is a lively splash everywhere, the young man's innocence, purity, courage andvision for the future. They are really impressive.
They four characters were completely different. Meg was16, Jo was15, Beth was14 , Amy was12. Meg was beautiful, attractive. And she envied dress. She did tuloring to help the family. Joe had a eautiful hair, and she was always running around in circles and had a strongpersonality.Though she often maked things worse, had a bad temper and did something like aboy, she was sincere. She loved writing and she helped family by doing nursing.
Beth, loved by most people, was very cute and shy.She was very quiet and never be angry. Therewas no wonder that we all call her \"little baby.\" She liked to curl up in her own happy world. And onlywhen she met people she trust in,she would be pulled out timid.Se was very sympathetic to thedolls, and she treated them as small baby by helping them make up new clothes. At the same time, sheloved playing the piano. She was very easy to satisfy.
Amy, was the smallest among their four, looked like a young lady. She wanted o be an artist andbecome the world's greatest master.
Lawrence was 16 years old.he lost his parent when he was a little boy.He was brought up by hisgrandfather. Not willing to lost his grandson,Mr Lawrence avoided him doing a lot of things he want todo.So he lived a sad and unhappy life with his grangfather and were not on good terms with eachother before he knew those four girls. He had a lot of money, however,he did not show it off.He wasvery enthusiastic and he became a sunny boy.
Mrs Marchi was a wise mother. She allowed her children to experience through the joys andsorrows of life and hoped her children to experience their lives instead of copy the history ofgeneration. She hoped her children would be beautiful, talented, kind, loved and respected by thepeople. She would encourage children. She loved their country. To their motherland ,she encouragedher husband to the war and never regreted it.She had been learning how to set an example to thechildren.
At first, every little girl had their share of vanity. However, after going through a lot, they graduallygrowed. They understand what is true happiness. Each of them had their own castles in the air and
their little aspirration. In their view, family was their place of growth and refuge. They would listencarefully to their mother, would use their skillful hands and clever brain to creat the beauty of life andwould beautify their soul.
Some people said, four sisters growing up was like a richest interesting educating poem.Theauthor used normal language to show us the great humam family, friendship and love.In the eyes offour sisters, the happiest thing was they could live with those who they loved forever.Indeed,In myopinion, this is also my greatest happiness.
They were very hard woking and they helped the home to support the family by doing variousthings. They were busy but they did not lack of the luster of life.Once each of them had been
lost, regreted, and puzzled, but anyway, they grew up.They were innocent and had no bad opinions.Afterexperiencing a series of trials and life to death, they gradually said goodbye to their childish andbecame mature. They helped each other ,loved each other, and became a group of little women whocould stir up the burdens of life.
Their smile is in my mind, remembering me to be strong,to have a pure heart. They also tell us howto deal with family relationship. From them,I think I have to learn to be strong, learn how to be contentand learn how to cherish what we have.Do not undershand their valuable after we lose them.Weshould treat others sincerely and regard every parting as forever parting.Just as the saying goes, donot cry for the past meteors,or you will miss the others. We should be careful to find othersadvantages. We should have hopes to the future and set our own goals and then strive to reachthem.Allow ourselves to be an independent, strong and motivated people.Just be a real little woman! ⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇12
In Little Women, you will meet the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth & Amy who live with their mother,Marmee, and their maid Hannah, during the Civil War. The first half of the novel takes place while theirfather is away, serving in the war. Each sister has a distinct personality, a reader, an artist, a musician, the quiet one. You will get to know this family in touching little stories of their daily life. Each chapterseems to set up a moral lesson for the reader to learn. We also meet a wonderful set of neighbors, Mr.Laurence and his nephew \"Laurie\" who quickly find a place as part of the March family.
The second half of the novel, focuses on the girls as they leave their childhood and begin theirjourney into adult life. Lessons of friendship, family, and love are covered as we join the charactersthrough the ups and downs of life, good times and bad. It seems that Louisa May Alcott used her ownfamily as the basis for the stories in Little Women, basing the character Jo on herself. It is amazinghow though the book was written in the late 1800's, so many things about humans remain the same. The foundations of life that are important in friendships, family & love don't change through time, asAlcott has shared with us. This is a book that young and old can read and appreciate. ⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇13

⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇15
Little Women Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. So I have a strong interest on it.
It all begins in the dead of winter; The Christmas Season.
The coldest one of all, were the war has made fuel for heating very scarce.
While her husband is off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise their four daughters: Jo, Meg,Beth, and Amy.
On Christmas Eve, Marmee has just arrived home from passing out food to the less fortunatewith a letter from her husband, the girls father.
The all gather together around the fire to read the letter. Afterwards, the girls are teary eyed. Marmee kisses them and they are off to bed. Jo is longing to become a writer.
So, every night she stays up late writing the script for soap operas. As morning comes she is the last one awake.
The table is set, and food prepared for their Christmas feast.
As dusk falls, the girls are all up in the attic acting out Jos play, which she reads from the local(fake) newspaper.
As they are performing, their rich, next-door neighbors grandson watches from the window. The 2 oldest girls: Jo and Meg, get ready to attend the Christmas Ball. While Jo is curling Megs hair, there is a strange smell to the air. Amy screams, Megs hair is being singed.
They continue digging through the old clothes bin for a pair of white gloves.
One of the prominent themes in Little Women is the coming of age or maturation of the girls. During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways -- physically, intellectually, and especially emotionally.
One question which readers must ask themselves is whether the views the characters have onthe coming of age process are shared by Alcott.
If they arent, what are Alcotts views and how do they differ from those of the women in herstory? It is interesting to examine the last half of Chapter 20, Confidential.
Jo addresses the maturation issue as she speaks with Marmee of the situation between Meg andMr.Brooke.
The possible love between these two represents one of the very important aspects in coming ofage for a teenage girl.
Jo treats this natural process as if it were some sort of disease, however.
Jo cannot understand why Meg would want to stop behaving like a sensible creature (p.202),and refers to love as such nonsense.

This book will be the main Marchi is home to four different character of the girls through their owngood and hard work to find their own well-being of the story's ups and downs of rock or no plot, nosuspense spectacular, but by using plain language description of the Marchi home Tianlun love. Aregood, the love of family love and loyalty to the desire deeply touched me. The author describes only avery ordinary life in the details, but it is always exposed to love the vision of a better life.
Marchi family home while the girls poor, but they have it has anything positive and optimisticattitude. Novels stressed their individuality and dignity, but they have shown self-restraint, self-relianceand independence are the four girls are the common characteristics they always keep to identify theirweaknesses and efforts to correct. It is also worthy of everyone's learning.
I like Meg, like her love to be willing to poverty, not by the temptation of money for the character ofladies like her style. I like Joe, like her freely, like her dream and work hard for the unwaveringdetermination. I like Beisi, like her quiet, do anything Haowuyuanyan, for others like her always thinkof good moral character. I also like Amy like she's strong, pro-poor economic poverty as Jirenconviction. They were not ideal and the fate of the same, but they all found themselves the bestdestination.
In their view, the growth of their home is a place, but also a sacred place of refuge. To listen
carefully to their mother's teachings, to use their dexterous hands intelligence of the brain inventedone after another innovative at the same time beautify the soul of the game. The four sisters grew up islike the richest man in an interesting education poetry. With neither the author nor boring gorgeouslanguage to show us great human family, friendship and love. It seems to me that in the eyes of foursisters, and they will always love and love of their life together is the most well-being of all things. From them on, I learned how strong and learned to understand but can not meet the contentment Ilearned to always full of hope for the future and try to chase the dream of optimism. I also learned howto redouble our treasure owned by, do not die, and so lost only know their commendable. We shouldbe careful that each person's strengths rather than put on a colored eyes only see other people'sshortcomings.
Meg, Joe, Beisi, Amy their four strong, optimistic spirit will always be stored in my mind. Theysmile back to exist forever in my mind, to remind me and to strong, have a pure heart ⼩妇⼈英语读后感 篇18
