My favorite Chinese book is To Live, a masterpiece（杰作）by Chinese writer Yu Hua. The first time I read this book, I was in high school一a public school in Beijing. My Chinese teacher said that we would learn a lot about China by reading it. I was very curious about the title of the novel and didn't quite understand what it meant.
