Topic:Could you please clean your room? Subject:English Three Dimensional Goals The knowledge Objectives

Students master the way to make polite requests and ask for permissions. And master new words and verbal phrases. The Ability Objectives

Students can use polite way to make conversations and can talk fluently in front of other students. And to be able to cultivate Ss’ 4 basic language skills:writing、reading、listening、and speaking, mianly speaking and listening. The Emotional Objectives

Students can understand more about their parents and teach them to do some housework in their home. Key point

Make polite requests and ask for permissions, Difficult point

Students can communicate with others using the key vocabulary and the target language learnd in this class in every situation. Preparation Muitimedia

Teaching Procedures: Step One Lead-in

Greeting students and say :

What a nice day! Do you do chores at home? What kind of chores? Ss:...

Here let’s play a guessing game( Let students to speak out the verbals : sweep the floor、do the dishes and so on.)

1、Show students more pictures on the screen abouting doing chores. Let students guess what chores it is. 2、Discuss

Do you do these chores at home on weekends? Step Two Presentation

1、I don’t like doing the dishes? Could you help me to do the dishes?( Ask students try to give more answers)

2、Students work in pairs to make conversations, and they ask each other whether they do chores at home? Help them to make polite requests by using target language “ Could you please...”(Try to let more students join in the class and practice the target language.) Step Three Practice 1、Listen to 1b.

Our friend Peter is talking with his mother. And they need to do some chores,let’s listen and try to find out what Peter will do and

his mother do? 2、Check the answers.

3、Listen to 2b and 2c. Then check the answers by individials so that they can listening carefully.

4、Listening and Fill in the blanks.(To practice students’listen and write down skills) Step Four Conclusion

Ask students to conclude “What did you learn today?”(Try to practice students’ knowledge ability ) New words、verbal phrases and expressions. Step Five Homework

1、. List all the main phrases of doing chores that you know and remember. (必做)

2. Make a conversation between you and your friends, using the sentence pattern “Could you please …?” (选做)

学情分析

一、学生基础分析

本届农村学生接触英语比较晚,从小学5年级才开始学习。所以英语基础比较差。口语表达以及听力能力是听说读写最差的。所以在设计课程时需要多听多练。 二、学生年龄特点分析

八年级的学习处于青春期最叛逆的时间段。开始不乐于发言;有些羞涩保守;有些抵触老师。在课堂上表现不太积极,不敢发言,害怕错了被同学嘲笑。平时上课过程中注意照顾学生的心理变化。

三、学生学习风格分析

学生在学习过程中比较被动,需要老师家长的督促。学生的主动性比较差,这需要长期的鼓励和养成。对学生来说比较困难的是单词记忆。记得比较慢,容易忘记。没有掌握必要的学习方法。

效果分析

本次课堂效果一般。本来预计设计一些与学习生活相关的图片、场景可以引起学生的兴趣。产生的效果是学生较好的同学可以积极地参与到课堂中来,课上表现也非常积极,可以主动发言。

但是,部分后进生很难参与到课堂中来。长期跟不上英语学

习,导致他们对英语的学习几乎没有兴趣。又加上全英授课对他们来说更加是如听天书。

总体来说,本次课堂效果在预料之中。

教材分析

Unit 3 Could you please clean your room? 是人教版八年级英语下册的第三个单元,包括四个板块的内容(Section A, Grammer Focus, Section B, Self Check),这四个板块基本上都围绕着“chores”着以话题展开,语言技能和语言知识都是依据这一中心话题而设计。

本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第三单元的第一课时,是一节听说课。重点在于通过学习如何礼貌的提出请求以及征求别人的许可,激发学生的兴趣,培养学生分担家务的习惯,任务是以听、说为主。鼓励学生勇敢大声的用英语来表达自己的观点。本节课的知识目标是掌握本课时的单词以及动词短语,可以熟练的运用句型“Could you please...?”和 “Could I...?”礼貌的提出请求和征求别人的许可。情感目标主要是让学生学会主动地去承担家务。

课后反思

本听说课主要是以听、说为主。预计学生可以掌握的非常熟练,但是现实情况似乎不太理想。学习好以及一般的学生可以掌握的

非常熟练,但是部分后进生兴趣不大,还是有些难以调动。以后上课需要设计一部分比较简单的题目,尽量调动学生学习英语的兴趣,可以参与到课堂中来,做课堂的参与者,课堂的主人。

课标分析

知识目标:扩大词汇量,能够委婉地提出请求。能够委婉地征求别人的许可。

能力目标:提高学生的口语表达能力,培养学生的听力技能。 情感目标:让孩子们通过课堂内容的学习,可以主动的为家人服务。做一些力所能及的家务活。
