In our impression, king is the dignity person who keeps aloof; In our history books, king generally had great power, and wealth; In the soap opera, king also has lots of wives. Therefore, we thought that king should have no more worries, happy and joyful. Certainly, he don’t love only one women in his whole life. If let him make choice between the landscape and beautiful woman, he definitely will choose the landscape.Because we understand an obvious truth, that if we have the landscape, the beautiful woman will come trippingly.
However, all these are our prejudice. In the love of a king, I had known a dissimilar king. He is King Edward Ⅷ who given up the kingship for his lover.His life completely differently with us. His childhood is very lonely .He didn’t get love from his parents. When he is 20 years old he had experienced the First World War. He realized that the war is heartless. the war also caused him to determine to go out for a walk.This walk lasted for five years.His traveling amounted to 240,000 kilometers, visited 45 countries. In this process, the people of the world had known this amiable young people who has a golden heart. In 1930, Edward met his goddess, Wallis.Wallis has divorced,so she cannot marry to the king. For living together with the beloved female, Edward has given the throne
to his younger brother.
I found out that wealth doesn’t stand for happiness, ture love. For our life,the most important things are not wealth orpower.I think ture love and happiness are most important.
