摘要：A catheter anchoring system (10) is provided to securely anchor to a patient'sskin a catheter (14) and fluid supply tube (12) interconnection. The anchoring systemcomprises a retainer (20) configured to receive a catheter adaptor (22) in a variety ofpositions. The adaptor (22) interconnects the catheter (14) and the fluid supply tube (12).

The anchoring system (10) additionally includes a flexible, adhesive anchor pad (16) whichsupports a tube clip (24), as well as the retainer (20). The retainer (20) includes a channel(44) that is configured to receive the adaptor (22) in a snap-fit manner. The retainer (20)also includes a plurality of lateral slots (50). Each slot (50) is sized to receive and tocapture a radially extending member (eg., an annular collar (200)) of the adaptor (22) toprevent the adaptor (22) from sliding within the channel (44).
