摘要：There is provided a technique capable of easily and suitably setting or updatingthe setting information or the firmware of a plurality of network devices. According to a

network device management method, a device information managing section (11)transmits identification information and device information A of a network device (1),collates identification information and device information B received from the othernetwork device (2) with the own identification information, generates approximation-levelinformation, and stores this in an identification information database (12). A commandreceiving section (13) that has received a setting/updating command C1 stores thissetting/updating command in a command database (15). A setting/updating processingsection (14) carries out the setting or updating of the own network device. A commandtransfer section (16) selectively transfers a setting/updating command to other networkdevices based on approximation-level information.
