摘要：The invention relates to an IC card used for settlement, a settlement systememploying the IC card and a settlement method where one IC card can be appropriatelyused by a member (customer) for a plurality of cooperation card companies. For thatpurpose, the IC card stores information of credit card numbers of a plurality of said cardcompanies and each IC card has a plurality of credit card functions. Information aboutsaid member is previously registered in a card company processor which establishes thecommunication with a cooperation card company processor specified by a customerduring the use of his IC card in a member shop. Thereby, a plurality of credit cardfunctions are provided in one IC card, and also a plurality of account numbers are madecorrespond thereto.
