（一）形容词、副词比较级和最高级的构成：
1. 单音节词和少数双音节词比较级和最高级的规则变化：
规则 1.在词尾后直接加-er/est 原级 tall fast 2.词尾是e，只加-r/st 3.以辅音字母加y结尾的，把y变i再加-er/est nice large happy easy pretty thin fat big hot 比较级 taller faster nicer larger happier easier prettier thinner fatter bigger hotter 最高级 tallest fastest nicest largest happiest easiest prettiest thinnest fattest biggest hottest 4.重读闭音节，末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写这个辅音字母，再加-er/est 2. 其他双音节词或多音节词,在该词前面加-more/most beautiful—more beautiful—(the) most beautiful delicious—more delicious – (the) most delicious
3. 由形容词加ly构成的双音节词和多音节词,都是在该词前加-more/most. quickly—more quickly—(the) most quickly difficultly—more difficultly—(the) most difficultly 4. 不规则变化:
good/well bad/badly/ill many/much little old far ⒈ 比较级+than从句表示两者比较（ A … 比较级+than B ）

比较级原级的互换：
表示两者“相等”用，as+形容词原级+比较对象: (A … as 原级 B )

表示“不如”， “不相等”时，用“not+as/so+形容词原级+as+比较对象”。

比较级前可用much / a lot / far(… 得多)， a little（稍微） ,still, even（甚至）, any 等表示程度；
形容词、副词前如有：very, too, quite（非常）, rather（相当）等修饰，一般用原级。 比较： He is much ___________( well) today. It’s much ____________ (expensive).
