摘要：PURPOSE:To ensure a quick calculation of the designed external secant or thelike for a line shaping arithmetic device, by using an arithmetic means having a conditionunder which the total sum is equal between the field external secant and the designedexternal secant and the sum of differential moments of the final terminal or the totalsum difference between the inner and outer work shifting extent is set at ''0''.

CONSTITUTION:The measurement data at plural points of measurement within a shapingsection of conventional line is supplied to the storage part 8 from the input part 7. Theconditional data is calculated at the arithmetic part 9a to secur at equal value betweenthe total sum of the field external secant and that of the designed external secant; theconditional data is calculated at the arithmetic part 9b to secure the sum of ''0'' for thedifferential moment between the field and designed external secants across the finalpoint of shaping section; and the conditional data is calculated at the arithmetic part 9cto obtain the difference of ''0'' for the absolute value difference of total sums betweenthe inner and outer work shift degrees. The designed external secant is calculated at thedesigned external secant arithmetic part 10 and from said conditional data, and the workshifting extent is calculated at the shifting extent arithmetic part 11 from the designedand field external secant to be displayed at the output display part 12. In such way, a

quick and accurate calculation is possible for both desiged external secants and the workshifting extent.
