Last week,in support of the battle against the novel coronavirus in Wuhan,my classmates and I initiated a campaign with the name “Lucky Money Plan”,which turned out to be worthwhile and beneficial. Learning from TV that the epidemic

situation in Wuhan went bad to worse and that the protective facilities were badly needed, I really felt uneasy and depressed, determining to do my bit to cope with this worrying situation. After careful consideration,a good idea hit me that I could raise some money to purchase medical supplies for Wuhan.

Without delay,I posted my advocation letter named Lucky Money Plan on the school website,stressing the significance of the activity and calling on all my fellows to take an active part in it.Much to my amazement,all of them showed great interest and enthusiasm and donated all their lucky money,fully expressing their affection and their heart of love,which also explains the true meaning of the old saying “One in trouble,assistance comes from all directions”.Money having been collected,I ordered a wide range of medical necessities on the Internet,including protective clothing,masks,goggles and so forth.Through express,these items were directly sent to a hospital in Wuhan.

A few days later,I unexpectedly received a telephone call from the hospital.The doctor spoke highly of what we had done for them and for the people in Wuhan,saying our kindness and our support strengthened their determination to wipe out the virus and made them know they were not alone in this battle.Hearing these words,I felt extremely excited as well as proud.I was convinced that we Chinese people,with the whole nation’s joint efforts,were sure to win this battle.
