摘要：A device for mounting and demounting compression coil springs comprises acylinder, each of the inner (6) and outer (1) elements of which, which are telescopicallymovable in relation to each other, carries a cup (17) offset in relation to the axis of theirrelative displacement and intended to be engaged with one turn of the spring to bemounted or demounted. The part (20) for fixing at least the cup (17) intended to engagewith the outer element (1) comprises a split ring whose internal cross-section (D) issubstantially identical to the cross-section of the outer element (1), the width of the slot(22) being less than the larger dimension of this inner cross-section (D) but at least equalto one of the dimensions (d) of the cross-section of the inner element (6) in order thatthe latter can pass into the slot (22).
