摘要：Pieces (11 fig 1) of a puzzle (10 fig 1) are formed from a roll 20 of sheetmaterial 21 which is passed between a cutting roller 22 and a co-operating backing roller23. The sheet material is formed from a top layer 40 adhered to a substrate layer 41 bymeans of an adhesive layer 42. The cutting edge 43 of the cutting roller cuts through thetop layer but does not cut through the substrate layer. The sheet material may have anintermediate layer (111 fig 7) such that the cutting edge cuts through both the top layerand the intermediate layer. Adjacent puzzle pieces (172,173 fig 9) having complementaryinterlocking features may be cut from the same sheet but at spaced apart locations. Thepuzzle pieces are for use in either three dimensional and/or jigsaw puzzles.
