The module hasan outer envelope shape formed in cylindrical manner. The UV-disinfection plant fortreating drinking water, has a cylindrical housing (1) with an inlet (2) for supplying thewater and with an outlet (3) for removing the water, a bar shaped UV-tubes (4) forproducing UV-radiation, which influences on a part of the flowing water, and a module (7)for influencing the water flow within the housing, formed with structured, stretched sheetmetals (8), which are arranged parallel to each other. The main flow direction of thewater runs parallel to the sheet metals. The module has an outer envelope shapeformed in cylindrical manner. The sheet metals exhibit bars and rhombus shapedopenings, cause a flow separation of a main flow of the water into several partial flowsand comprises drinking water soluble-stainless steel. The bar is wound in relation to themain plane of the sheet metal. The total decrease of pressure of the drinking water flowover the plant is less than 100 mbar. The drinking water flow in a normal operating stateis 10 cubic meters per hour. The inlet and the outlet are arranged at the opposite endregion of the housing. The UV-tube is oriented along a main flow direction of the water.The module comprises structured packing for absorption- and/or extraction- and/orrectifying columns. The packing shows a surface of 100-200 square meters per cubicmeter volume. The surface of the sheet metal comprises germ-killing silver.
