摘要：The invention relates to a device (10) for treating a particulate material, inparticular for mixing, drying, granulating, pelletising and/or coating the material. Saiddevice comprises a container (14), which has a process chamber (24) that is locatedaround a central longitudinal axis (26) of the container (14) and is configured as anannular chamber, in addition to a conduit (32) in the centre of the container that isseparated from the process chamber (24) and configured as a flow conduit for processair, opening into the lower region of the process chamber (24), an upper region of saidprocess chamber (24) being open. In at least a first operating mode, the upper openregion of the process chamber (24) communicates with the conduit (32) in the centre ofthe container to conduct the process air, the periphery of said conduit (32) in the centreof the container being enlarged and open towards the upper region of the processchamber (24). According to a method for treating particulate material, the container (14)is filled with said material and process air is introduced into the lower region of theprocess chamber (24) from the conduit (32) in the centre of the container, said air flowingupwards in the process chamber (24) in order to set in motion the material in saidchamber (24).
