摘要：This invention relates to a process for preparing polysulfide product generallycontaining an average of 3 to 6 sulfur atoms in high yield which degrades minimally overextended time periods. Minimal degradation is accomplished by a unique treatmentprocess wherein chemical species, most notably unreacted mercaptans and catalystswhich apparently promote degradation, are selectively removed from the polysulfidecrude product.
