（1）字母在英语文字中的作用

英语是一种拼音文字，共有26个字母，它们是组成英语单词的基本要素，

因此学好语音及单词要从学好字母入手。

（2）字母的书写

1）英语字母分大写和小写两种形式。英语字母书写时分为印刷体和手写体

两种形式。在书报、刊物、杂志上常用印刷体，平时大家写作业、做练习、考试用手写体。

2）英语字母的每个字母手写体都要稍向右倾斜，斜度要一致，倾斜度约5

度。如Aa，Bb，Cc。

3）字母的分类

英语字母按其发音可分为元音字母和辅音字母。英语有26个字母，其

中Aa，Ee，Ii，Oo，Uu这5个字母是元音字母，其余的21个字母是辅音字母。

区分元音字母和辅音字母

26个字母中元音字母的读音最多，读准了元音字母，对读准其他字母有很大

帮助。单词是由字母构成的，26个字母中只有Aa（一个）和I（我）可单独构成一个单词，其余24个字母则不能。每个单词中至少有一个元音字母，元音字母是构成单词的基本要素。如：good，morning，nice。而辅音字母只有和元音字母组合在一起才能构成单词。 （二）重点词组

(3) 一般疑问句 Are you a Chinese? Yes, I am. No, I’m not.
