摘要:The invention relates to a process and devices for identifying objects (2) with theaid of an image-processing system (1) with at least one optical sensor (4, 17) and anelectronic evaluation device (10) with image store (11) and processor (12). To recogniseeven deformed and soiled objects (2) in a short time (much shorter than 1 second), theinvention proposes analysing the images recorded with the optical sensor (4, 17) fordeformation-invariant parameters which are characteristic for the particular object typeand then deducing the object by comparison with corresponding stored values. Thedeformation-invariant parameters are determined in advance with the aid of a calibrationprocess, which may be different for each object type. To determine the various
geometrical data of the object to be identified, the latter has to be registered from two(or more) directions which are as far as possible orthogonal, under different illumination.
