摘要:FIELD: composite materials based on diamonds. SUBSTANCE: carbon material isprepared by premolding half-finished product having porosity of 50-80 % by volumemade of diamond powder with particle size of not greater than 10 nm and subsequentlyheat treating it in hydrocarbons at temperature higher than decomposition temperaturethereof to increase the weight of half-finished product by not more than 50 wt %. Half-finished product made of powder is molded by pressing, slurry casting or applying ontoheat resistant slurry substrate at diamond concentration of 3-40 wt %. The claimedmethod makes it possible to obtain carbon material having high adsorption activityhigher (by 2-10 times higher than that of the prior art) of double electric layer inelectrolyte solution.
