what does your mother do? 教学设计

1. 教材分析:

本课的主题是 “what does your mother do ? “语言功能是对家人的职业进行询问,并且能进行相应的回答He’s a … She’s a … 学习任务是She’s/He’s a …句型的正确运用。

2.教学目标:

(一)知识目标

1. 能够听说, 认读单词:work businessman ,cute .

2. 能够听说、认读句型: What does your mother/father do ? 并进行准确回答:He’s/ she’s a …

(二)能力目标

学生能够运用句型 “What does your …do ? 对职业进行询问,并能运用所学职业单词回答别人的询问。

(三)情感目标:培养学生用英语进行交际的能力,进行合作的意识。

3.重点难点:

1. 单词“work,businessman, cute .”的正确认读。

2. 用“What does your…do ?” 对职业进行询问,且会用“He’s She’s a…进行回答。

4.教具准备:多媒体课件、单词卡片、录音机、磁带、奖品、实物等。

Step 1 Warming-up

1. Greetings.

T: Good morning

Ss: Good morning

2. Play the chant, get the students to listen and repeat

Teacher, doctor, farmer

She’s a super teacher.

He’s a super doctor.

She’s a super farmer.

Teacher, doctor, farmer

Super! Super! Super!

(复习三年级学的Teacher, doctor, farmer,让学生熟悉职业的名称,为下一个环节介绍自己父母的职业做下铺垫。复习旧知,激活与本节课重点知识相关的已有知识。让学生在轻松的氛围中进入本节课的学习,从心理上做好学习英语的准备,)

Step 2 Presentation

1. (教师出示不同职业的幻灯片,教师举例She’s a teacher.引导学生回答。

She’s a …He’s a …说出图片中的职业名称,并板书句子She’s a …He’s a …为下面课文中的句子做铺垫。)

Ss: He’s a farmer.

She’s a doctor.

T: This is my work. prize for you.

(给学生自己做的幸运星做奖品,然后说this is my work,引入新单词work,板书work。)

2. Ss: This is my mother.

She’s a farmer. (He’s a teacher.)

T: This is ’s work. How beautiful!

(让学生画出自己家人的简笔画,并且指着自己的作品,老师在旁边说出work.

设计意图,让学生画自己的图画,能吸引学生的兴趣,为学生创设一个宽松的学习氛围。)

3. T:Look,this is Wang Hong’s mother’s work.

(给学生出示几幅十字绣作品,说出它是王红妈妈的作品,然后播放课文视频,让学生听,并且回答问题。板书问题。)

T: What does Wang Hong’s mother do?

What does Wang Hong’s father do?

Step 3 Practice

1. Listen and watch, find out the answer.

T: What does Wang Hong’s mother do?

S: She’s an art teacher.

T: What does Wang Hong’s father do?

S: He’s a businessman.

(学生听视频,找出答案,并板书新单词an art teacher, a businessman.)

2. Pair work:

(设计意图:小组之间一问一答,上部分的对话,目的是让学生熟悉新单词an art teacher, a businessman, What does your mother do?)

T: What does Wang Hong’s mother do?

S: She’s an art teacher.

T: What does Wang Hong’s father do?

S: He’s a businessman.

(在学生回答完问题之后,给学生奖品,并且说出you’re cute. 并且板书单词cute.为下面的欢欢,小狗的出现做铺垫。)

3.课件展示欢欢

T: This is Hanhuan. She’s cute.

S: She’s cute.

Step 4 Practice

1. Do Let’s talk, Look at Guo Yang , listen and repeat.

T: What does Guo Yang’s mother do?

S: She’s a teacher.

T: What does Guo Yang’s father do?

S: He’s a doctor.

2. Pair work:

S1: What does Guo Yang’s mother do? (your father)

S2: She’s/He’s a …

3. Show them the pictures for the students, get them to practise

the professions with the pictures.

(展示课件,让学生看着图片做对话,进一步熟悉本课的知识点,What does she/he do? She/he is a …)

Step 5 Game

(设计意图:让学生拿出代表职业的自己的作品,为了进一步熟练说出这节课的单词,并且练习职业问句。并给予自己做的幸运星奖品。)

Step 6 Guessing game

(设计意图:What do I do?给学生一段文字叙述如下,让学生看着文字,猜相应的职业,是为了让学生能养成用英语思考的习惯,并且用所学的职业回答出谜语的答案。进一步把职业的名称记熟。)

T: I’m very proud of my job, I work in a school, I have many students, they are clever and cute. What do I do?

Ss: It’s a teacher.

Step 7 Production

(设计意图:让学生欣赏配音图片,设计这一环,是为了让学生能从本课的学习中体会出,每一个职业的分工,和他们的工作环境,带给观者的感受,让他们能体会出父母和老师的辛苦,从而做到尊重别人,起到立志学习的目的。)

T:What can you learn from this lesson?

Ss: I can study hard.

The farmers are very difficult.

They are in bad environment.

T: work hard for tomorrow.

Work hard and do your best.

Step 8 Homework

1. Talk about the job with their friends.

2. Listen and repeat the dialogue after school.

Writing:

Lesson2 what does your mother do?

T: What does Wang Hong’s mother do?

S: She’s an art teacher.(an English teacher)

T: What does Wang Hong’s father do?

S: He’s a businessman.

教后反思:

这节课主要讲授的的是职业,通过王红妈妈的手工作品,展开的话题,所以在设计新课的时候,我用三年级学过的chant: teacher, doctor, farmer. She’s a super teacher. He’s a super doctor.来导入新课,让学生在旧知识的基础上,用简笔画画自己的家人,谈论This is my mother. She is a teacher.

然后展示课文的图片,引入新课This is Wang Hong’s mother’s work. She’s a teacher.听课文,练习对话,学习work, businessman, cute, an art teacher. 课件展示一些职业的图片,让学生进一步熟悉对话 A: What does she/he do? B: She/he is a … 同时,为了让学生记住这几课的内容,我又设计了让学生做的职业的道具,让他们练习A: What does she/he do? B: She/he is a …达到熟练地目的。

最后我用两组不同的照片,来展示两种截然不一样的职业,生活环境,来教育学生,让他们树立积极向上的人生观,What can you learn from this lesson? 让他们发表自己的看法,树立学习有用的看法,通过自己的努力来实现自己的愿望,来改变自己。

通过上课的情况,我认为我上课的时间掌握的不精准,前面的环节有些缓慢,导致后面的环节有些仓促,还有课堂用语对学生用的不够好,导致学生没有及时的配合,奖品准备的不充足,没有得到的学生,没有得到满足,在今后的课堂我会逐步改进。
