Support life for the HP 3048A Phase Noise Measurement System ended July 31, 2002. For a limited time only, we are running a customer upgrade program to preserve your investment in phase noise measurements with an E5500 solution that is ~10X faster than the 3048A. The main elements of this program are listed below:

Trade-in Discount: Trade in the 11848 testset from your 3048A system, and receive a 10% discount on any standard E5500 series system including special option E19 listed below. (You keep your 11848 until the new E5500 system is up and running.)

Leverage your 3048A instruments: Special option E19 provides the Asset Control Modules (ACMs) for the E5500 to manage and control specific 3048A instruments automatically. E19 includes ACMs for the 3561A, the 3585B, the 8662/63 A, the 8566, and the 71000 Series Spectrum Analyzer. (The 11729A Downconverter is useable manually and does not require an ACM.)

View 3048A measurement data with E5500 software: The E5500 series software application reads 3048A DOS files (*.prm definition files and *.res result files) and displays 3048A measurement results.

Time Limit: Orders must be submitted for The Customer Upgrade Program by January 31, 2003.

Note: Each \"B\" system for the E5500 may require Option 110 to delete the E4411B Spectrum Analyzer, if you have your own 856x or 3585 Spectrum Analyzer. The price of those \"B\" systems would then be reduced by the current price of Opt 110 to a \"B\" system.
